Meet Caroline Cramer

The face behind the NL Pavilion

Behind Orange Exhibition Management is Caroline Cramer: an entrepreneur at heart and a hands-on organiser, active in the international exhibition business since 1996. She spent two decades organising NL Pavilions at international trade shows for the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion (NCH), and founded Orange Exhibition Management in 2016. Her focus has always been food: finished food, food processing, packaging and ingredients. Years of building relationships with organisers, venue owners and exhibitors gave her a network most agencies never develop, and the know-how to spot problems before they happen.

Caroline from Orange Exhibition Management

From passion to expertise

Caroline comes from a true entrepreneurial family. Around 90 years ago her grandfather started a butcher’s shop in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands, and her cousins run the family business to this day. That background shaped the way she works: think commercially, take responsibility and get things done. Or, in typical Dutch style: less talk, more action. A trade show waits for nobody. When something needs to be arranged, you arrange it.

What has never changed in all those years is the enthusiasm. Caroline is still on the exhibition floor during build-up, throughout the show, and wherever something needs to be solved. She knows the industry, she knows the organisers and she knows the practical side of exhibiting internationally. But most importantly, she knows her customers. Personal contact, direct communication, and keeping your promises: that is what Orange Exhibition Management stands for.

Why orange?

Orange is internationally associated with the Netherlands. It refers to the House of Orange-Nassau and has grown into a symbol of Dutch identity, pride and togetherness. For us it stands for more than that: energy, entrepreneurship, creativity and progress, qualities that reflect the way Dutch companies do business internationally.

That is why our NL Pavilions are orange. At an international trade show, where hundreds of companies and brands compete for attention, orange creates a strong and instantly recognisable presence. It brings exhibitors together under one banner and communicates one clear message at a glance: this is the Netherlands. Dutch by origin. Orange by identity.
